Microblading Pre-Care

  • Purchase numbing cream HERE   & follow application instructions at least 1 hour in advance
  • Bring in 1 or 2 pictures of brows you are wanting
  • Fill in your brows as you would day-to-day so I have an idea of color and shape you prefer
  • Avoid eyebrow waxing, threading or tinting at least 3-5 days prior to your service 
  • Try to avoid any medications that would thin your blood such as aspirin, ibuprofen, Vitamin E and Omegas. If on prescriptions such as accutane, I suggest waiting 3-6 months to schedule a service
  • Wait at least 2 weeks after Botox sessions in the forehead area to schedule your microblading service
  • No alcohol consumption the day before/of your service 
  • I recommend scheduling any vacations where you will be in the sun 2 weeks post your service to decrease unwanted fading at an early stage
  • Microblading is not suitable for:
    • Immunocompromised
    • People on Blood Thinners 
    • Women in the 1st Trimester 
    • People with a History of Keloid Formation​

Microblading Post-Care

  • Always wash your hands with soap and water prior to applying ointments
  • If washing for brows is absolutely necessary, use sterilized gauze dampened in distilled water and pat, NOT rub the treated area,
  • Avoid cosmetics on your brows and apply the provided ointment twice daily; excessive salt or water can increase swelling
  • Do not get your brows wet for 7 days
  • Avoid sweating or tanning for 7 days
  • DO NOT pick at any dry flaky areas during the healing process

Microblading- What to Expect

  • After treatment, it is normal to feel a sunburned sensation for a couple of days followed by dry, itchy or tender skin during the healing process. 
  • Brows will appear darker and bolder the next day.  During healing, they will lighten 30-40% and shrink in size-THIS is NORMAL!
  • Healing process will take approximately 6 weeks
  • As your skin naturally exfoliates and regenerates, you will notice color change, disappear and reappear as they settle-ALL TOTALLY NORMAL!
  • Skin will begin to flake and peel off-TOTALLY NORMAL, do not get alarmed!
  • Color will flake off and appear softer and less visible but will slowly reappear over the next 3-6 weeks-TOTALLY NORMAL and expected!

Microblading- After the Healing Process

  • Continue to minimize the sun exposure; an SPF 15 of at least 15 will help protect pigment from the sun’s rays
  • Lasers on the treated areas can cause the pigment to darken and swell; avoid area at all times
  • Exfoliating products such as chemical peels, alpha & beta hydroxyl acids and retinol, promote pigment loss so again, avoid the treated area.
  • Annual touch-ups can lengthen the life span of your brows (typically lasting anywhere from 1-3 years)



Pre Lash Extension Care

  • Come with no eye makeup on and with your eyes  
  • Thoroughly clean lashes at least 3 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. 
  • If you wear contacts, we recommend that you please wear glasses to your appointment

​Post Lash Extension Care

  • Keep your lashes dry and avoid touching them.
  • After twenty-four hours, care is fairly simple: avoid oil bases products, cleanse your lashes regularly and be gentle with the lashes. 
  • Be gentle to your lashes; do not pull on the extensions or rub the eyes excessively.
  • Groom your lashes as needed with a clean mascara wand, preferrably when wet
  • For the first 48-hours after application the lashes should not be exposed to water or steam  
  • Avoid swimming and the spa for 48 hours after lash application for best results.
  • Avoid the use of oil-based products on or around the eyelashes and do not use waterproof mascara. 
  • Airbrush tanning should be done 24-hours prior to your eyelash appointment.
  • Let skin care providers know about your Eyelash Extensions and use caution when using steam, acid/peels, laser or hydroxyl treatments.
  • Use powdered, liquid or gel eyeliners. Pencils (unless specially formulated for Eyelash Extensions) tend to leave an oily residue which could loosen the bond.
  • Apply Protective Coating once or twice per week on your new lashes to preserve the look and to extend the life of your eyelash extensions. 
  • Please schedule relash appointments accordingly. Due to the natural life cycle of your natural lashes and your own lifestyle you can expect to need refills every 2-3 weeks.


Can I swim, shower, exercise or visit a spa while wearing eyelash extensions?
You can enjoy these eyelashes with little need to adjust your lifestyle. Provided you follow the simple after care instructions and are not excessively exposed to heat or moisture, they will last through your natural lash cycle and fall off with the natural lash, not before. You can swim, shower and spa as usually so long as these activities are not engaged in excessively. (Please do not swim or spa for 48-hours after the procedure to allow the adhesive to fully bond.)

Can I apply mascara to eyelash extensions?
Indeed, one of the main advantages of eyelash extensions is that you never need mascara again. However, if you must have a mascara-look, only water-based mascara can be used. You can purchase a specially formulated eyelash extensions mascaras from our spa. DO NOT USE OIL-BASED OR WATER-PROOF MASCARA. Waterproof mascara along with any type of oil-based mascara will dissolve the bond and cause the eyelash extensions to fall off. If you choose, wear a water-based mascara, apply it on the tips only!
